Objective

The main aim in the second laboratory is to clarify the mechanisms of climate variation including Asian region, by conducting and analyzing numerical simulations of climate models (Earth system models). Especially, we provide projections of the climate change on extreme events such as heat waves and heavy rainfall, as well as on climatological states, for reduction of uncertainty of the change and for deeper contribution to the mitigation and adaptation of global warming.
