The first laboratory of the Department of Climate and Geochemistry Research
Objective
The main aim in the first laboratory is to clarify the mechanisms of extreme events using the long-term global reanalyses and the results of numerical model simulations. To improve reliability of our analysis, we also conduct validation of the long-term global reanalyses using observational data and evaluation of seasonal prediction system.
