BGR SIGMA special issue 2014

The special issue on Snow Impurity and Glacial Microbe effects on abrupt warming in the Arctic iSIGMAj project has been published in "Bulletin of Glaciological Research", which is an international, multi- and inter- disciplinary, open access online journal dedicated to the publication of research articles and reports on all aspects of snow and ice, Volume 32 by the Japanese Society of Snow and Ice.

The special issue contains the following preface, 6 articles, and 3 reports. Addressed subjects are in-situ measurements at Greenland, measurement technicues of snow grain size, satellite remotesensing of snow physical properties using thermal infrared spectra, and numerical snow modelling, etc. Please check them!
