電子顕微鏡は、個別エアロゾル粒子の微細構造(例えば形態・組成・混合状態)を詳細に調べることができる強力なツールであり、近年の急速な気候・気象モデルの進歩により、個別粒子の微細構造を含めた観測データの必要性がますます高まっています。
本シンポジウムは、
・ 電子顕微鏡を用いた大気エアロゾルの研究者
・ 微物理モデルを用いた研究者
の双方の研究者に、電子顕微鏡とモデルのリンクの意義、現在の試み、将来の可能性について意見交換する場を提供し、電子顕微鏡とモデル研究者相互の理解を深め、更なるエアロゾル研究促進を目指すことを目的とします。
ご興味をお持ちの多くの研究者、関係者のご参加をお待ちしています。
